APPLY
Everybody between 18-28 can apply disregarding of previous experiences. What counts is your motivation and enthusiasm. Dekeyser & Friends invites applications from very different young people from different countries, cultures and social strata. The foundation welcomes applications from ALL young individuals, who are interested in diversity and tolerance. We are thus excited to receive YOUR application for a fully funded fellowship for one of our projects. Selection is done by the foundation and the project Friend and based on your motivation and enthusiasm for the project.
Deadline 45 days - July 10, 2009.
Become part of a group of young people from around the world who – under guidance of a leading personality – work together on a projext with a clear goal. Succeed and dance on stage, finish a house or help others to start a new life – become a Dekeyser & Friends Fellow.
Being a Fellow is not primarily about benefiting from a specific education, a skill or a study program. Being a Fellow offers you the space for inspiring thoughts and experiences, time to find out what can happen if you believe in yourself, have a fantastic team and work hard and with joy.
Fellows do of course learn specific skills. They will be taught and benefit from their hands-on experiences. More importantly, however, every project tries to give Fellows the space to think about their dreams, receive positive feedback and feel inspired to think independently about their life.
Reasons for wanting to become a Fellow are thus manifold: do you want to learn a particular skill? Are you just curious about life and the project? Do you want to spend time with the project Friend? Do you want to be together with young people from around the world? All these reasons are legitimate. Becoming a Fellow is about remaining curious, about trying to seek inspiration and positive feedback under exceptional circumstances.
And even the reasons why young individuals apply to become a Fellow are manifold. Some are interested in becoming a Fellow because they will have the chance to do something they have dreamed of their entire life. Others don’t really know what to do and are hoping to get inspired and benefit from the encounters and experiences. Some applying to become Fellows have had a long education and apply for a project in their specific field of interest. Others apply for an experience in a field that they would not normally aim to get involved in.
What unites all is that they are seekers, curious about new experiences, new friends and new ideas. Future Fellows aim to get inspired, hope to get encouraged and are motivated to get involved with her/his Friend and the team. Fellows can be from very different backgrounds and cultures – but they are united by their motivation to make their time at D&F a uniquely rich and inspiring one.
Are you between 18-28 years old? Are you curious? Are you motivated to become a productive part of your project team? Do you think that you will benefit from the experience with respect to your future? Do you think about the impact your dreams and ideas could have for the society you live in?
Then you should apply! If you are accepted, you will automatically win a full fellowship, meaning all expenses will be paid – from travel costs to room and board and all project activities. Applying is easy – just have a look at our application process.
